You will need to meet with your Student Academic Services associate prior to submitting an application to the University. Your Student Academic Services associate will assist you in selecting a program, review your transcripts and provide you with an unofficial evaluation of credit help you through the application process and register you for your credits,

Complete your Application online at admissions.fiu.edu
Your application for admission will begin the process. Your application can be downloaded from the FIU website and completed in a matter of minutes. Please remember to complete ALL fields. ALL educational institutions attended in the past must be listed on the application. Remember to sign and date the application.

Complete Transcript Request forms
If you are applying for a bachelor degree program, a transcript request form is required for each regionally accredited college or university previously attended. If you are a master degree candidate, a transcript request form is required for the institution from which you received your bachelor degree, any institutions where you have taken prerequisite classes and any institutions you have attended since the completion of your bachelor degree program.

Complete a Student Finance Agreement
After reviewing your financial options with your student academic services associate, you will need to select the option that is appropriate for you, sign and date the Student Finance Agreement and submit it with your completed Application for Admission.

Application Fee
You will be asked to pay the application fee online using a major credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover) or you may pay the application fee by using a personal check or money orders in US dollars. Please be mindful that no application will be considered until the application fee is paid.

Registration
Upon receipt of the above documentation and based on the information provided, your Enrollment Advisor will work with you to select and register you for your first three courses at FIU Online. Class availability is on a first-come, first-served basis and early registration is suggested.

Purchase Books
You now have many ways to buy your textbooks: Come into the bookstore and browse for yourself. Reserve online and pick them up in the bookstore. Buy online and have them shipped directly to your door or even download them. The FIU Bookstore offers cash back for your books everyday, no matter where you bought them. Click here to order your textbooks online. Some online courses do not require textbooks and you will be made aware of this when you login into your course. |
