Financial aid is a source of monetary support in the form of loans, grants, and employment offered for the specific purpose of helping a student meet educationally related expenses.

If you qualify, you may be offered a combination of these types of aid based on your financial need and the amount of funds available. Due to limited financial aid funds, those files which are completed by the March 1 priority deadline have the best chance of receiving a financial aid award that meets the students' need.

Your financial aid application will not be reviewed until ALL required documents are received by the Financial Aid Office. You must be admitted to the University to be considered for assistance.

Basic Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for financial assistance, you must meet the following basic eligibility requirements:

•

Demonstrate financial need.

•

Be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen.

•

Be registered with Selective Service, if required.

•

Not be in default on a previous student loan or owe a repayment on a previous federal financial aid award received at any institution.

•

Be enrolled at least half-time in an eligible program of study (some aid is available only to full-time students).

•

Maintain satisfactory academic progress.

Additional requirements may apply depending on the aid programs awarded to you.
