Multimedia Portfolio

The Multimedia Studios at MANGO can support a host of project types. From video production, graphic design, audio recordings and photography, the Multimedia Team is ready to work with instructors to create engaging and effective online courses.

Green Screen

Through the use of a Green Screen (or chroma key technology), any background can be layered behind an instructor as they are being recorded. This produces visually-appealing videos for students to enjoy.

The “Learning Glass” is a new method used for recording lectures that allows instructors to write lecture notes while maintaining face-to-face contact with students. A transparent whiteboard allows the instructor to write normally, left to right, then the recorded image is flipped so students can view the writing correctly on their computer. The final product is a much more engaging lecture-video.

Photogrammetry & 3D Scanning

Photogrammetry is the science of making measurements from photographs. Using this technology, small artifacts can be scanned at the studios and then uploaded to an online player so that students can access. The experience is much more interactive than simply looking at a static photograph.

Lecture/Content Video (MediaSite)

Lecture/Content Videos are used to display both slides and a synced video of an instructor. The MediaSite technology allows for the students to quickly swap between full screen mode, picture-in-picture mode or side-by-side view.
